A poor cobbler has a dream in which he hears the Lord promise to visit him. Instead poor people in need of food, clothing, warmth, and understanding come to him. In the end he understands that this is how the Lord visits men today.

This animated Cold War film commissioned by the U.S. Information Service tells the story of a cobbler who gradually becomes interested in politics due to business challenges in the 1780s. He becomes a supporter of the new U.S. Constitution, then a delegate to his state ratifying convention. The film sketches the reasons for the Constitutional Convention, the debates in Philadelphia, and the structure of the federal government. It was created for foreign audiences.

With The Cookie Jar, Hannah Swensen has a mouthwatering monopoly on the bakery business of Lake Eden, Minnesota. But when a rival store opens, and one of the owners is found shot to death in the store, Hannah is determined to prove that she wasn't the only one who had an axe to grind with the Quinn sisters. Somebody wasn't fooled by the Georgia Peaches and their sweet-as-pie act--and now it's up to Hannah to track down whoever had the right ingredients to whip up a murder.
